Its beginning to look a lot like… WINTER!

I am so excited… the air is getting cooler the nights darker. I do love summer but I am even more in love with Winter! Big coats, scarf upon scarf, thick woolly socks and boots… boots of all kinds… biker, platform, studded, long and short – especially loving the Chloe Susanna Studded Buckle boots… AMAZING!! Bring on the chill!!

Puttin’ on the Ritz…

Kate Moss in the US Vogue April 12 Issue is absolutely breathtaking! What a fitting way to farewell the Ritz until of course it comes back BIGGER and BETTER!!! Enjoy…

I want to be like Grace Kelly…

This weekend I am heading to the Bendigo Art Gallery to see the highly anticipated Grace Kelly: Style Icon Exhibition.

Grace Kelly has always been classified as a true style icon – from the days of a pair of black cigarette pants, white shirt and black ballet flats – Simple. Classic. Style.

Minimilism…

There is something about the simplicity of white – its crispness, the sharp cutting edges or beautiful soft flowing tones.

Its perfectly beautiful. Always has been, always will be.

Something Special…

Ok – so I know this is not an independent label… (AT ALL!) but it is the latest item to hit the shopping list… I walked though David Jones the other day just so I could have a look and have that dream of it one day hanging off my arm! I think when I go overseas in a couple of months I will have to check out Barneys and see if they have it… a special holiday treat!

Simple…

Well… I have a ‘simple’ idea – I will keep the words to a minimum (I am not much of a writer) This is going to become my creative outlet to post anything and everything that I find inspiring.  I have an office job by day – but that is purely a means of survival. My dream job is something quite simple – own my own boutique store – travel the world picking up one off pieces and bringing them back to the Australian market – handbags from Paris, shoes from New York, scarves from Morocco.

To me it is not about the label but the story behind the label.
